SUPPORT ALFIE’S CHARITY

Alfie Potts™ supports Norwich Door to Door….

….and you can help Alfie raise £20,000 by donating just £2 today!

Alfie’s Dad taught him that entrepreneurs should always give back by contributing to their local community and helping out those less fortunate than themselves. With that in mind he’s started a very worthwhile project.

These days it’s well known that we humans benefit from mixing with friends and family, so being able to get out and about is important for both our physical and our mental welfare.

However, in our busy world we often forget the severely disabled children, adults, and older people in our community. These are people who without a high level of assistance and specialist equipment find it difficult to leave their homes and join in with all the wonderful opportunities and things we take for granted.

Can you imagine what it would be like if you couldn’t get to the bus stop, or into your family or friends car and enjoy that day out, or even pop to the shops?

It’s not a pleasant thought is it? But there are estimated to be 24,000 people in the Norwich area who need help with transport, some with far greater needs than others.

The sad thing is, unless it’s someone close to us we are never likely to give them even a passing thought are we? And if that’s the case it’s really good to know there are people out there who are willing and able to help those with the greatest need.

We found Norwich Door to Door is open when all other “doors” seem closed.

Norwich Door to Door is a small local charity and voluntary organization that changes lives for the better in the Norwich area.  They offer accessible transport (with lifts) for the social and health needs of 500 severely disabled children, disabled adults, and older mobility impaired people who belong as members to the scheme.  The six mini buses are available for any disabled person who is on low income and unable to use mainstream transport or the volunteer car schemes to book a trip out.

The demand for the Door to Door services continues to increase, yet traditional funding streams are contracting. For example, Charitable Trust funding is at an all time low due to low interest rates and poor returns on capital. They also know their grant funding from local authorities is under severe threat just when it is needed most.

This charities future is looking quite bleak….

But in reality they need to get bigger, not smaller! Retracting their services is unacceptable to them when they are fully aware of the difference they make in the lives of their passengers. They get told as much every day.

Here are just a few of the testimonials from grateful users….

We can’t just sit back and let an organisation like this close its doors to the community when together we can help them get back on track!

Alfie has come up with a very powerful idea to raise £20,000 by asking 10,000 people to donate just £2 to Door to Door via the Alfie Potts™ charity giving page.

Alfie understands that the world is going through a time of financial crisis. People everywhere are hurting and money is scarce, so asking people for large donations at this time isn’t very appropriate.

After all, doesn’t charity begin at home?

That’s what we’re always told anyhow, and that’s why all Alfie asks is that you each give just £2, and ask everyone you know to do the same.

There’s great power in numbers you see. There’s great power in a ‘team effort’. People often say that team stands for Together Everyone Achieves More, and in this case you can see how that concept applies can’t you?

10,000 people donating just £2 each will give Norwich Door to Door an amazing £20,000 to help them continue their work in the Norwich area.

Wouldn’t that be great?

Of course if you are able and willing to donate more that’s great too. Feel free to give whatever you can afford…….but £2 from everyone is what we are asking for.

£2. That’s all.

That’s less than a coffee at Starbucks, and it will be much appreciated by those who need it more than we do.

Please donate £2 NOW by clicking the button below.
